Cafe Campli is a hidden gem of an Italian Restaurant located in the heart of Hamilton. If you weren't looking for it, you'd miss it, and what a shame that would be. We dined there for our anniversary dinner. The food was great, and the service was excellent! The sea bass was amazing!

Added Cafe Campli to the list of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore after last nights dinner.

We had no reservations for dinner so we sat at the bar. I ordered a sangria and it was a perfect summer drink.

Appetizer - For starters we had the burrata special, which came with crostini and a tomato sauce. The burrata was so fresh and paired wonderfully with the tomato sauce. The crostini was toasted and drizzled in olive oil that you could really taste. Loved it.

Entree - For mains we just ordered pasta. I had the Alla Lanterna, a lemon butter spaghetti alla chitarra with roasted garlic,
cauliflower & garbanzo puree, anchovy breadcrumbs. Lemon pasta = summer in my opinion, and it was perfectly refreshing. The lemon flavor was just right- not too subtle and not too overbearing. There was a little too much crunchy bits for me tho, I wish I had less to really appreciate the pasta.

My friend had the Sunday Gravy, which was a rigatoni with oxtail and sausage ragu. I tried a bit- The pasta and sauce was very fresh. I didn’t try the meat.

Dessert - For dessert we had a slice of cake. I believe it rotates what flavor- we had a pistachio ricotta cake and it was perfection. The layers were beautiful! The pistachio flavor was subtle and the cake melted in your mouth. So good.

Service - Service was great at the bar- not sure about table service but the place is really cozy and seemed like plenty of staff to cover!

Seating - the restaurant is smaller with a cozy vibe, few seats for bar seating so make a reservation.

Parking - We parked on the street. No payment required when we there around 6pm on Saturday.

Very rarely can you say you have a perfect dining experience. I can say that every time I go to Cafe Campli, it is a perfect dining experience. From food to service, this place is the best in Baltimore.
I am not easy to please. I’ve been wanting to try Cafe Campli since it opened because my family is from Abruzzo. We have spent time in Italy so our expectations are very high. Cafe Campli blows it out of the water! This restaurant is the real deal with not only the best food in Baltimore, but the best Italian food I have had in the U.S. Excluding my own kitchen of course. 😉
Go eat here, you will love anything you order! Please support this local gem, my family would love to see them thrive in the community for many years to come. Cafe

Stopped in for happy hour one Friday afternoon and had a really great experience. This is a very small cozy place with a to of atmosphere. The food here is incredible! Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. The have a great selection of Italian cocktails and wine. I would definitely recommend coming here and can't wait to come back and have dinner with friends.

Can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! From pre-dinner drink to desserts, it’s all wonderful. A terrific addition to our neighborhood! I think our favorites are the ravioli (or any other filled pasta dishes). Worth checking out the happy hour specials as well!

Really loved our dinner date at Cafe Campli! The menu is a nice mix of authentic modern Italian with a local flare. It’s a small dining area but it feels intimate and cozy. Very quick and attentive service. I am also quite obsessed with their Stappi Spritz spirit free cocktail!

Cafe Campli is a great little neighborhood cafe for a meal, drink (and date night)! We sat at the bar and had delicious cocktails, followed by a few dishes to taste the seasonal menu! Food was delicious and portions just right! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. What is better than homemade pasta?! The staff was friendly and the owners (who work in the kitchen) and are so passionate about their restaurant, cuisine and Italian culture! We will be back to try the new menu soon!
